we are launching the Vancity Bike Share experiment!!!

We've been hearing murmurings that people in our community are curious about how a bike share progam would do in Vancouver. One of the first 'changes' on ChangeEverything was by by Senns, it outlined a vision for a bike share program here in Vancouver. More recently local blogger Darren Barefoot has also written a couple of blog posts on the subject.

We are excited to be launching the Vancity Bike Share experiment at BEST’s (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) Pancake Breakfast! Celebrating the wrap up of Bike Month there will be free pancakes, fair-trade coffee, juice, and organic oranges for all who commute by biking, walking, carpooling or transit. And we'll be giving away bikes!

Currently, we are looking for people who want to participate in this experiment. If you'd like to get your hands on one of our bikes, click here.

Come eat some pancakes and watch as the Vancity Bike Share takes its first pedal!
