A first gathering will be held September 16 at noon in front of the DFO offices at Burrard and Pender -- to inform the people and the government of the issue and recruit as many people as possible to the October 3 rally. Come out. It's a good feeling to be DOING something for wild salmon!
I stopped by my MLA's office this morning. This is a watershed election, folks, make no bones about it, and we have just a week to get out the progressive vote. VOTE and vote early. May 6-9 you can cast your advance ballots. A lot is at stake:
the future of BC Hydro as a crown corporation;
the health of our rivers, and public power;
our salmon;
the livability of our region...
