How can I sing "True patriot love in all thy sons command" and look my daughter in the eye? How can I sing "God keep our land glorious and free" and not feel like a hypocrite?
Can't we have an anthem that doesn't go out of its way to divide us?
So tonight, I went by Save-On-Foods and bought a package of stickers. I was originally looking for plain white envelope labels, but the only thing I found were "Hello! My Name Is..." tags. Which works just fine for what my friend and I wanted to accomplish. We spent about an hour or so sitting at Tim Horton's, filling every single one of the 100 tags with quotes, thoughts, and song lyrics. Some of them were just silly. Some of them were really thought provoking. Some of them didn't make sense at all.
