Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett play amidst an international cast in this modern day reflection on the consciousness of society. In this movie, we see social stigma, cultural stigma, and a system that defines how we manage our societies around the world. Looking closely you can see how we act out against this system, act out against each other, and how we impose ourself and our views upon one another. The trick is to look beyond your own class, your own society, and to look deeply into the heart of each character in each culture.
