After 16 years, a decision on Burrard Bridge is near. The two lane trial is by far the best solution for almost 6,000 people per day that walk, cycle and run over Burrard Bridge. The Done Deal is Coming Undone - We Demand Transit First, Not Freeways
Faced with the twin meltdown of climate and economy, the Premier and the Prime Minister seem intent to drive us over the edge by refusing to rethink the Gateway Project.
Recently, we conducted a poll here on ChangeEverything.ca where we asked you about the idea of mandatory recycling in our region. 91% of people who responded voted, "yes" to the idea of implementing mandatory recycling (you can see the poll and even vote if you have not yet by clicking here) I thought that the City would be interested in these results so I sent an email to the mayors office.
