All you have to do is drop a ‘virtual coin’ to start an animation. Each time you do, you help raise funds for the BC Children’s hospital. BC Hydro will donate up to $25,000, so help spread the news to others and let’s help them reach that goal!!!
Someone sent this to me and I want everyone to know! It's free and fun to do and you help raise funds for the BC Childrens' hospital. Basically BC Hydro has created an online game where you drop a ‘virtual coin’ to start an animation. BC Hydro will donate up to $25,000, so help spread the news to others and let’s help them reach that goal!!! http://wwe5.bchydro.com/2008holiday/
Well, about eight months ago I set off on a trip to travel around the world, I still have another three months to go but I am trying to find the way to make the most of my time here.
My names peter and i watched a video on you tube that has changed me forever somthing so small has had the biggest impact on me. I want to make a change like this man did by starting a free hug campain in vancouver. What do you think? Would you hug a complete stranger if you need a hug? What about if you had a bad day at work?,a fight with someone. i strongly beleive that a hug is a very powerful thing.when i saw this man hug the first person you can see the conection they made and they dont even know eachother. After seeing that i was so over welmed with emotion it really tuched me. i want to make people feel good about them selfs tell me what you think.
I was listening to my coworkers talking today about how many bicycles are stolen every day in Vancouver, and how it is often homeless people or street people, and how the police don't bother to do much about it because if they take the bike back, t
I was listening to my coworkers talking today about how many bicycles are stolen every day in Vancouver, and how it is often homeless people or street people, and how the police don't bother to do much about it because if they take the bike back, the thief will just steal another one.
So, I got to thinking, why not have free bikes downtown, in various locations that ANYONE could use any time of the day? There is a program like this somewhere in Europe that apparrently works very well. I think it would be a great anti-theft initiative because then the people who need a bike can borrow one, and just use it, instead of taking transit, or resorting to theft. Of course, there would be some loss through attrition, but what business or program doesn't have loss, but I think most people would respect the program and use it appropriately.
