I had thought about cycling to work for a few months after becoming an acting Team Leader last December and having to be in the office each day instead of on the road.
In Hamilton Ontario we have the "mountain" aka Niagara Escarpment to deal with. My daily commute is 10 kms each way along with a few hundred feet change in elevation.
I want to start getting more exercise, and make it a consistent part of my life. I want to be stronger and healthier. I don't want a busy schedule to knock me off my fitness routine. I want to find an activity or sport that I love, so that I would be more likely to stick with it.
So, tonight, April 4th, I went downtown and played this super fun game called Manhunter. It is like tag, and so I got to run around and try to hide from 'hunters' and then I chose to become one, and ran around trying to catch others. I had a blast!
