I went down to the Station Street Farmers Market to help publicize this new Wednesday location and to refresh my supply of local greens. In case you don't know, the market goes from 3pm to 7pm.
I always wonder what the first day of a new market will be like. It's a bit like inviting friends to a party and wondering if anyone is going to come!
The first full year on the farm has been interesting. The deer fencing from Lee Valley worked, and is being packed up for next year. All of the garlic crop has been sold, except for the seed saved for next year. The driers have been working full time drying fruit from the trees in the orchard, and everyone has been helping out with the canning of our own produce.
