After 16 years, a decision on Burrard Bridge is near. The two lane trial is by far the best solution for almost 6,000 people per day that walk, cycle and run over Burrard Bridge. I had thought about cycling to work for a few months after becoming an acting Team Leader last December and having to be in the office each day instead of on the road.
In Hamilton Ontario we have the "mountain" aka Niagara Escarpment to deal with. My daily commute is 10 kms each way along with a few hundred feet change in elevation.
