The Write Room Press, a local independent and non-fiction publishing press will launch its first title this Saturday, May 9, at 4:00 p.m. at the YWCA Hotel downtown Vancouver.

Art goes beyond words.

Everywhere I go people are in a hurry, stressed, busy and placing unreasonable expectations on others.  It seems to me, I need to slow down.  I'm just as guilty as these crazy people that come into our lives and expect - not to wait, get exactly what they want, get the best deal, do as little as possible, have someone else do it for you, etc......

 I have been in the line up Tim's and two individuals cut into the line up of 20 others who were patiently waiting their turn.  Their excuse for rudeness...They were in a hurry.  Big deal.  What is wrong with people.  What makes them better than the other 20 people in line.   This is happening everywhere you go.  Why is everyone in such a hurry?  Has society created this?
