It takes a village to stop a freeway, come help build the village! Come to the South Fraser Protection Camp this Saturday from 9 am on for a work party to help construct a village that will stand in the way of the South Fraser Freeway. Details on transportation below.

Start at 9am at Tsawout First Nation in Saanich and walk 22km to the BC Parliament for a rally (3pm-5pm).

The Cohen Commission opens on Monday Oct. 25th. Come to Vanier Park at 11:00 am, across the Burrard Bridge from downtown Vancouver, to join a lunch time rally on the same day. Synopsis of issue. Metro Van (and corporate interests) have looking into solving our over-abundance of waste problems with large incinerators. Their argument is to generate energy from burning garbage. The City of Vancouver (CoV) has been fighting the proposal and with good reason.
