My childhood was not the best and always knew when I had kids I didn't want them to grow up the way I did. I want them to have everything I didn't, of course in moderation. Love, care, inspiration and guidance. Now that I am a dad, I do everything in my power to fullfil my desire to give my kids what they need, but I always think about those other kids that don't have that.
What can I do to make a difference in there lives too? Give them guidance, inspiration, a dream? Hopefully I will be able to do something whether small or large that may make a difference in one childs life the way others have made a difference in mine. This is my new year's resolution for 2008.
Imagine their is just one root problem in the world focusing on which will make you come to a possibility that addresses all the symptoms like financial greed, overpopulation, mass poverty, inequality, trashing of human life, human-trafficking, pollution and destruction of habitat, small farmers and farmland, natural diversity, hunger, infant and children mortality, disease, global warmin
PLEASE ADD TO YOUR EVENTS CALENDAR: Anybody Can Make Solar Ovens at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts' Rhododendron Festival on May 6, 2007. This is a FREE festival, open to the public.
I would like to help the people in my community and across Canada become inspired by other individuals who have made a difference in their community and towards environmental sustainability. Similar to this initiative, I decided to start my own collection of success stories from across Canada - a library or archive of environmental information.
