Resolution: Forget the cost factor, Mass Extinction is looming

Solar Power Roadshow's picture

After hearing (UK author) Geoge Monbiot's talk, (thanks for Banyan books for brining him to Vancouver to speak) I read further on the topic of Climate Warming and was very, very surprised that this planet's carbon dioxide level is already in the same range of one of the Great Dyings. Since our politicians (and those of other countries) are ignoring this planet's peril, I've decided to use my Power Of One, and acquire a small, used fully-electric-powered truck, not just a hybrid vehicle, as a first step in the right direction, for those trips when the electric scooter can't handle the load. This e-truck's batteries will run exclusively on revived batteries that would otherwise have ended up in an industrial-recycling process, which was the subject of a Greenpeace investigation widely available on the Internet, called, "The Myth of Automobile Battery Recycling." And, I'm going to stick to the 200-Mile Diet (in Radical Press ezine.)

I'm resolving to ABSOLUTELY MINIMIZE my carbon footprint on the planet regardless of the cost, in both dollars and hours.
