Many of the aging homes on large lots in Delta could be converted into 3 smaller innovative fee simple homes. Alternatively the existing home could be converted into 3 strata title homes which would not require strata fees. Empty-nesters could become a micro developers, and build their retirement home in their own neighborhood. This could make home ownership affordable again in Delta and other areas of Metro-Vancouver.
