Stand Up For Mental Health is proud to be nominated for an international Ashoka/Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Award.

Design for Development is thrilled to be visiting Vancity's Kits 4th Avenue Branch all day Saturday June 14. There will be a continuous presentation about our Bambulance, Bicycle Ambulance and other projects. We will be fundraising to ensure that the Bambulance Pilot Project rolls later this year in Kenya in Nairobi's Mathare slum-population 500,000.

Throughout Africa and around the developing world, the difference between life and death often comes down to a pair of wheels.

At Vancouver's Design For Development Society, we want to design simple, practical  solutions for serious problems facing communities  in Africa and the Developing World. We want to work with, and empower these communities. Our Bicycle Ambulance projects in Namibia, Kenya and Zambia are an exciting first chapter for our story.
