Reduce my environmental impact

There are many subtle ways to reduce our individual impacts on the environment. In 2007 I am going to make sure I turn out the lights, turn off my monitor, ditch the paper coffee cups (I'm a big offender) and get on my bike more often.

Scroll through these archives for an often hilarious, sometimes glorious, almost always ridiculous re-cap of toilet paper's illustrious history. My faves are the 'waldorf', 'medicated toilet paper' and the 'nile queen crepe'.

In seriousness, there is a larger conversation here on ChangeEverything.ca about toilet paper. And not the kind where people are debating the virtues of scrunching vs. rolling. The kind that discusses sustainable options for this very critical little part of all our lives. if you have any tips on toilet paper that comes wrapped in something other than plastic, and that is made from recycled material that does not deplete our trees - please pipe up!
