No More Plastic Bags!

For the next year, I will be working on sewing together hundreds of re-usable grocery bags, re-usable produce and bulk bags as well as re-usable sandwich bags. I will be salvaging as much material as possible from second-hand stores and garage sales, putting together different sized bags with my sewing machine and stitching on a "KGNW" as a reminder. Come "Environmental Week" of 2011, I plan to be handing them out for free at local malls and grocery stores. Promoting a plastic-free tomorrow.
