building greener

I'm building a near carbon-neutral writing studio in my front yard to learn the ropes of green building and teach others how we could be doing better and expecting more. It's 480 square feet, with passive solar design, reclaimed materials, and energy efficient fixtures, and I expect it will be one of the most energy-efficient buildings in my community.
