be more compassionate with my family members

a while ago i participated in something called Project Connect, an event that brings together a whole lot of services available to homeless people in our community, in one place for one day. there were dentists, barbers. people advising on affordable housing, and hot meals - not to mention the smiles and love.

You know, I'm *really* glad I set this intention via the change here on Change Everything, because it comes up often that I feel critical of something my family is doing, but at those times I remember that I wrote this whole community that I want to be more compassionate with my family members, and I catch my tongue just in time. It's been hugely helpful.

As the days tick by, I'm thinking about all the things I love about my family. My dad's quirkiness, my mom's deep well of kindness, my older sister's all round good vibes, my younger sister's friendly social disposition.
