Now that summer is really here, I gotta change my behaviour and hit all the farmer's markets I can. If I can't eat locally in the summer in Vancouver, when the heck can I?

How was it? I've never gone.
I spent all my grocery money at the trout Lake one this weekend.

I got the best cherries and peas ever. I am going to take some of the seeds from the peas and dry them out to grow my own... maybe I'll be my own vendor next year!

I'm also considering getting a deep freezer to freeze all kinds of local organic berries to makes smoothies throughout the winter with. It is my new breakfast super food experiment.

I've been using SPUD for a couple years.  Generally, really great service.  It has really helped me reorient the way I think about food (sorta like VC/CB does/could/should help us reorient the way we think about money??)
