WHAT IS THE PODMOB?
We want your sushi restaurant to participate in our
contest. We have hundreds of people who are looking for an
environmentally responsible sushi restaurant in the West End, but we
can’t find one! So we’ve decided to organize ourselves, and start a
contest.
We’ve gone to every sushi restaurant in the West End and asked 3 questions.
- Will you add labels to your menu so we know how each item ranks based on the Seafood Watch Sustainable Sushi Guide?
- Will you offer at least one item on you menu that is a “Best Choice” from the Seafood Watch Sustainable Sushi Guide?
- Will you commit to spend percentage of the revenue you make on
November 20, 2008 on making environmentally friendly changes to your
restaurant?
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
On November 20, 2008, our group (The Pod) will get all our friends and
family to come with us to your restaurant. We are sure that the
winning restaurant will:
- Receive media attention
- Attract new loyal customers
- Generate increased revenue on November 20th, 2008
- Generate capital for greening your business
- Receive FREE Premium Listing on Luna™ for one year
WHO WILL WIN THE CONTEST?
The sushi restaurant that says “YES” to our 3 questions, and commits
the highest percentage of revenue from November 20th on making
environmentally friendly changes in the their restaurant.
