The more we get together - the happier we'll be....celebrate co ops!

As a co-op member and a employee of a co-op (I proudly work for Vancity) I welcome the opportunity to celebrate and spread the word about co-ops.
There is an alternative to the capatalistic business model that is out there. A co-op can be a solution for like minded people to come together to fill a need in their community. It is also a successful business model. Co-ops promote innovation and effciency and do so in a way that isn't at the expense of another individual or organization. If you integrate reciprocity into your transactions a win - win result can be possible.
Promote co-operation this week and beyond. We can make a difference and drive change. As the song goes - the more we get together the happier we'll be.
