Disability & Entrepreneurship

Try out Change Everything

I'm a person with a disability who's always felt the hurdles of overcoming vocational growth when trying to access employment. Equal opportunity has been THE defining element that has made the difference in shaping my career. I now find myself as part of a loan program that offers entrepreneurs with disabilities the chance to access funds and assistance to 'open-up shop', but find that no one knows about it. Self-employment is a key form of work that provides the flexibility to thrive with a disability. So entrepreneurs with disabiilties out there, make yourself known to me, I want to hear from you.

Hi TMarks,

I'm writing you to ask you a special favor.

I work at a non-profit organization in the North of Portugal, that operates in the Professional and Vocational Rehabilitation sector.
Right now we are building an online-course to help people with disabilities at building their own business. Since you are going through that experience, i think it would be very interesting for us if you could write us your story, so we could use it as a pedagogical material in the course.

If you are willing to help, send me and email and i'll explain things better.
Regards,
Madalena
