Taking part at GLOBE 2008

The Forum for Emerging Environmental Leaders is a workshop for young people between the ages of 8 and 25 to be held March 14, 2008, as a side event to the GLOBE 2008 Conference in Vancouver.

The Forum will focus on engaging the next generation of policy thinkers, entrepreneurs and
community actors – it’s about new talent, ideas and actions – people who will build the businesses nd solutions for the 21st century environment.

The Forum is an initiative of ‘Connecting Environmental Professionals’ – the Vancouver Chapter of he Young Environmental Professionals group, The Delphi Group, University of Waterloo’s Centre for nvironment and Business, and the GLOBE Foundation. The event builds upon the success of the ECO Forum for Emerging Environmental Leaders held in Toronto in June 2007 which successfully rew participants from around the country to engage in environmental issues and action.
