Bike Share is a wonderful idea!

Hello all! I just heard about the Bike Share program today, and I am thrilled that Vancity is undertaking this fantastic endeavour. A bicycle is a wondeful way to travel, and what a better way to encourage new bike riders. I'm also part of the Cooperative Auto Network, and love being part of a community-based program like this. I've seen the community bike programs in Berlin & Copenhagen - much like putting a coin in for a shopping cart - there are bikes right there for sharing when you need them!

I'd love to share one of these fabulous bikes as well. I'm in the Fraser/Broadway area, and look forward to commuting to work...
