Things I've been making lately:
- bread (started again after a long hiatus)
- granola
- yogurt (using active bacterial culture from commercial yogurt as a starter)
- cookies (mainly based around rolled oats)
Things I used to make but don't anymore:
- socks, hats, scarves (I stopped knitting after I "mastered" socks)
Things I'd like to learn how to make:
- Paper. What kinds of scrap materials is it possible to make into paper? Old jeans and other clothing?
- Something useful out of all the plastic bags I seem to accumulate despite great effort to avoid them.

I've made paper from all
I've made paper from all kinds of things; old holiday cards, napkins, hemp, cotton, papyrus, ribbon.... anything fibrous and you can pretty much make paper with it. Even vegetables (cucumber makes the most beautiful stained glass paper) check out this book
