Vancouver Event - get out and talk about green stuff :)

So, as I mentioned in the change part of this site, [if the post worked] there is an event coming up on APRIL 18TH, beginning at 5:45 pm at Steamworks in Gastown called GREEN DRINKS. Apparently it is an opportunity to get out and socialize, network and exchange ideas with others who have green sensibilities [do we have green thumbs, or green souls?]

I hope !i will meet some changeeverything folks out there, since I have heard that some were particularly keen on hooking up with like-minded types.

Also, on the topic of getting out to meet and mingle, and support local biz, there are a few coffee type shops I'd like to mention.

1. The Zodiac Club Cafe, on Broadway, about 1.5 blocks east on Cambie, on the north side of the street. Kinda cool place, neat decor and deserves attention.

2. Sacred Space, a cafe and boutique and all around nice place to hang, located on Pender, acroos the street from the east end of Tinseltown.

3. Mink Cafe, which is located at the foot of Hornby at Hastings, in the little park. They have HANDMADE ORGANIC CHOCOLATE. Did I mention that they have a lot of CHOCOLATE? They do, and it is YUUUUUUUUUUMMMMYY.

So go, get out, sample something new. I dare ya! :)
