Saving the world's oceans...and us too!

So, I saw Al Gore on Saturday, Sept. 29th, here in Vancouver. I've seen the movie, but it was cool to see him in person.

One of the things I learned was that the world's oceans are on the verge of collapse! This means: no more fish, no more whales, no more dolphins, no more a lot of stuff!

I am pretty thankful that I don't have to give up eating fish, because I don't eat it anyway, with the exception of tuna. However, as of Saturday, I GAVE IT UP!

I sure hope others will make an effort to cut back on their seafood consumption, and yes, a few of the myriad sushi shops will go out of business, but, hmm, let's see: save the earth or save a few businesses that can turn into something else. An easy decision, in my opinion.
