I wanted to share a new project I have been working on for well over a year and invite others to become involved. happyfrog.ca is a local directory and community space for green business, not for profit and people who want to live with a lighter footprint on the planet.

With the guidance of some amazing BC-based friends including Social Signal, who were part of the team that created Change Everything, happyfrog.ca is a place for people with their feet planted in sustainability and social responsibility to promote their work and to share information with each other. It is built in such a way that the more people who sign up and share their favorite things, the more useful it becomes.

Also, everyone knows someone who has taken the brave step of starting their own business, one based on respecting the people they work with and for, respecting the planet in the products or services they offer, and one that they hope to make a living from. I encourage you to let them know about the site and to list their business (there is no charge and we get a lot of traffic).
