My 7 changes so far.2009resolution

It's a new year and I have slowly started changes and new routines for myself. I have started with the very basics, practical stuff that I can do.

1: No more coffee Monday to Friday ( only on the weekends, as a treat!) I have always known that my body cannot handle caffeine, and I did practice this in 2008, but I fell off the wagon at Christmas, and was drinking it every day! boy have I noticed how that makes me feel!

2:Take a good multi vitamin every day. It took me a while to find one that actually did me some good, and didn't make me sick! (you have to try a few before you get "the one")

3:Drink a liter of water a day. Good for the skin, brain, blood ect...but I'm still working on drinking a whole liter.

4:Omega 3,6,9 I know it's all the buzz right now, but I have heard more and more about the de-toxifying effects of this oil, and hey lets face it, I've got my share of toxins, with all my other bad habits!

5: Sleep at least 8 hrs. a night, ( I am really crabby when I'm tired!)

6: Positive re-enforcements. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it people like me! : )
No really, I am giving Thanks more. Because I do have a good life, things are not that bad, I am succeeding, and I can, and do, make a difference.
I love this saying..."When you change the way you look at things.... the things you look at change."

7: I also love this saying..."You cannot changed the way people percieve you, you can only change the way you present yourself" So I am trying to not get stuck in the rut of not caring about the way I dress and look, putting a little make-up on Monday to Friday, and wearing nice clothes is good for me, and my esteem!
(I own a gardening company, and still tend to dress like I'm going out in the field) And by caring about how I look, I fell better about presenting myself, which in turn is good for my
relationship with my husband.: )

Ok.... So what!.. that I have other bad habits that I'm not quite ready to change just yet.
It's a start. And besides.... "A change is as good as the rest" Right? ; )
