Free-wheeling

Well, about eight months ago I set off on a trip to travel around the world, I still have another three months to go but I am trying to find the way to make the most of my time here.

The main aim of this journey was to try to tick all the cliches; "learn about myself and others", "see how other people live", "find out what I wanted to do in life"....however on this ever-increasing list was never anything of an ecological nature. The fact that I am travelling by air alot of the time gives me a big thumbs down in the 'green' corner. So even though my use of public transport has been extensive, I decided that I needed to further this by activly trying to incorperate a more eco-friendly aspect into my trip.

Now my sister has moved to (and fallen in love with) Vancouver, she swears by her trusty, two-wheeled steed and has assured me that it is the only way to see the place. I am extremely keen to take her up on the offer, so this site seemed the perfect way to go about it.

I will be coming to Vancouver in the next week and I hope by then I myself will have a nice set of wheels all to myself.
