Vancouver BikeShare

Having recently moved from a suburb (where I've lived all my life) to downtown Vancouver I'm finding that my usual mode of transportation (by car) is the most inconvenient. Unfortunately, I still find myself driving shorter distances because it's too far to walk and things are too heavy to carry. Over the past few months I've been looking into getting a bike but it's hard for me to justify spending a few hundred dollars on a bike when I really don't know if I'll use it all that much - since I've never had one. A bike share would be perfect for me because it will get me out of my car and will allow me to test out the world of bike riding without having to worry about spending a few hundred dollars on a maybe. Hopefully I will fall in love with the biking lifestyle, purchase my own bike, and release the shared bike on to a new bike rider but for now, I'd like a chance :)
