The Banff community created a Facebook group regarding the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital obstetrics ward closure at:

I've joined even though I live in Vancouver now an anybody that has an interest in these issues surrounding obstetrics, small town life, are urged to also join. They would like to have at least 1000 members for the group.
Banff Town Council will be approached on Monday, March 9, 2009 to lobby Covenant Health, the Hospital and provincial government to re-open the program when they have qualified nurse applications.
