I would like to introduce you to Percy, who was bought at an auction as a joke. But once the joke was over, Percy was left tied up in someone's backyard - unwanted. Thanks to SAINTS, Percy now has a fabulous home that has a farm area that he can run and play in, which he does regularly.

I dream of a place...
I dream of a place where I can be safe,
and I am free to just be me.
I dream of a place where I am loved, cherished,
and all around, I am loved for me.
I dream of a place where I can rest in peace,
and I have value, because I am just me.
I dream of a place where I can be special,
for no other reason than just because I'm me.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to update you on my project.  First, I would like to thank everyone who was able to make a contribution, I really appreciate it.  This morning I delvered everthing to the Langley Animal Protection Society and they were really greatful.  I talked with them for a bit, and they are going to work on updating their wishlist for any future donations.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any pictures :(

Helping others...
Charlotte

Hi Everyone,

I just discovered this site yesterday, after watching Global News, and I'm really impressed!  You guys have given me the courage to finally do what I have always wanted to do.

So, I'm hoping to start a new Christmas tradition.  My family at home is 2 dogs, and 2 cats, and foster rabbits in the Spring/Summer months.  My most recent dog, Charlotte (image attached), is a 4-year old German Shepard that I rescued from the Langley Animal Shelter last April.  After talking to the people at the shelter I discovered that they are based on donations, food in particular as the animals only get dry food regularly and wet food when someone donates it.  My plan, Project Santa Claws, is to collect animal things and deliver them to the Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) on December 23.  I have a list of things that they are looking for:
