wind in my hair with peddle power!

What a great idea Vancity! bikes to share in the community! I would love to pick up one of the bikes tomorrow morning. I do hope they have comfy seats?! Rain or shine I'll take it for a spin, I would love to cycle around the seawall and up to prospect point - when are they opening up the seawall?? another subject for another day I know! I think this city is so well set up for biking - you can jump on the the seawall and ride round stanley park to english bay, under the burrard bridge around false creek, up to Granville island - stop for a coffee or doughnut! and make your way to the beach, obviously if the sun was shining you could take a dip - but hey? summer's on it's way - so hold that thought, cycle on to Locarno and Jericho beaches. And take a stab at the hill up to UBC if you've got enough power in your peddles. I'm sure there are plenty of bike trails in the endowment lands...not sure i will need to investigate.

So the long and short of it is - i'll take one of your bikes - THANK YOU!

work won't see me for 3 weeks, but rest assured i'll be about, toning my backside and getting a breath of fresh air.
