Rather surprisingly, I have taken up cycling in the city after many years of swearing NEVER to do it. My experience has been very positive. The traffic was not nearly as bad as I had imagined, as long as I stuck to the cycling routes.
I have to admit, when I saw the cruiser bikes lined up that morning at the pancake breaky, I got so nervous I almost decided to back out altogether. Not only have I not been on a bike for some years, but I've NEVER been on a bike like THAT.<!--break-->
My brothers and I used to bike for transporation in the small town where we grew up. Until recently, I saw biking in the city as treacherous and downright scary. What brought on my change of mind? Since I moved to Main Street in December I've seen so many people
