Day 3: Riding a bike is easy!
I haven't ridden a bike since my childhood but since we got the bikes in the morning I decided to ride it home all the way. Surprisingly it was pretty easy and fun to feel the wind in the hair. It is a bit tough to go up the hill but other then that it is easy and enjoyable.
Downtown has lots of bike lanes which is awesome. I haven't ridden it to to work yet, will start next week but been taking it for a ride at the night around the neighbourhood. My partner went out and bought himself a bike after borrowing my shiny red one few times. So today we took off to seawall and rode around, grabbed a bite to eat and listened to jazz music at the yaletown park. what a great way to spend a saturday. Tomorrow we are biking to Granville Island to listen to jazz music.
I've had soo many people check out my bike on the road and ask me about it. Everyone seems to admire the bike. I love it myself, such a pretty and comfortable bike! People at work that have seen me on the news riding the bike have million questions about the program!
I love the opportunity to get back into biking and I hope more organizations will sponsor this program and get more bikes out into the community.

How did you end up doing
How did you end up doing with the experiment? Did it change your habits? I know I am biking to work a lot these days as a direct result of the bikeshare experiment.
I am curious, who did you end up giving your bike to? Are you able to encourage them to log on and share their story?
