Great Cats and Rare Canids Act

Only around 3500 to 7000 snow leopards still live in the wild. A vote is expected on the Great Cats and Rare Canids Act soon after Congress returns early next month, so Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund needs donations to advertise the act in order for people in Washington (and elsewhere) to know about it.

Not many people in Washington know that snow leopards are disappearing or what Congress can do help. That’s why Defenders of Wildlife has launched an all-out campaign to pass the Great Cats and Rare Canids Act, which includes placing ads in Congress Daily -- one of the most influential publications on Capitol Hill.

Defenders of Wildlife needs to raise $40,000 by Labor Day to help support their efforts to ensure that this important legislation will pass!
