Kitsilano Car Free Festival Workshop

Getting Ready for Kitsilano's First Car Free Festival on June 15th!

Vancouver's annual Car Free Festival has expanded beyond Commercial Drive and is happening in neighbourhoods across the city this year on June 15th. In Kitsilano, neighbours will be holding dozens of simultaneous block parties on that day to celebrate car free streets. Everyone in the community is invited to get involved in planning parties for their blocks.

Interested, but not sure where to start? Organisers are holding a block party hosting workshop, April 13th, 2 to 4 p.m. at the SPEC building (2150 Maple St). We'll be walking through the city application process, and brainstorming ideas to make block parties fun and memorable events.
