week in review
I wonder what this year's storm season has in store. Hurrican Dean has already killed nine people (as of monday) i am thinking more and more about what steps i can take to reduce the affects of climate change
this post reminds us that we can play a part in helping a community of people who are really hurting right now as a result of the recent 8.0 earthquake and the subsequent 6.0 aftershock.
the image of the orcas repeatedly swimming through the diesel spill this week up at Robson Bight made me cry. My heart aches at our senseless bumbling around, we are making such a mess of our world. Reminds me of the other oil spill recently.
I am so happy that I have been seeing more and more people starting to express a desire to create less junk in our world. And lately on ChangeEverything.ca there have been a few conversations about bottled drinking water.
This post led me to a campaign to "take back the tap" which I LOVE! I signed the pledge.
