today is the day

Ok. So it is only one day - but I have finally brought my lunch to work. Actually it is leftovers from the last two nights of eating out. But it is a start. I keep meaning to make a big batch of curry and rice or something and freeze it in little containers that I can bring to work. I don't enjoy sandwiches. I always feel that I am being ripped off by lunch places, and none of the ones around me offer good vegetarian fare anyway.

Which brings me to a question I have been ruminating over; Why aren't there grocery stores near office buildings? I bet people would make them hugely successful. They'd pop in at lunch for some fruit and maybe some salad from the deli. And I bet they would go back, on their way home, to pick up whatever is missing for dinner.
