share your biking adventures!

It has been just about two weeks since the Vancity BikeShare experiment set 45 bicycles free onto the streets of Vancouver. Some of you have bikes, some of you are hoping to connect with someone who has one to pass along and some of you are watching from the sidelines.

We really want to read all of your stories! If you have a bike, please share your experiences on ChangeEverything.ca in the form of a blog post. It is a good way for you to help people who want to connect with you to get their turn. We are getting little snippets here and there from friends telling us things like "I saw one of the bikes at Critical Mass the other week" or "I saw one on The Drive". We are eager to find out more about all the adventures being had with these bikes, so please take a moment to blog about it.

If you are waiting for a bike, check out the bikeshare blog page. Find blog posts written by people who seem to have bikes and write a comment asking them to consider passing the bike along to you when their turn is over.
If you are watching from the sidelines and have something to say, do it! We'd all love to hear from you, too.

Also, someone locked a bike to the chain link fence in the metal cage by the loading dock at the back of 815 West Hastings Street. The loading dock is in the lane off Howe Street between Hastings Street and Cordova street, on the left as you enter the lane. The entrance to the lane is directly opposite the Howe Street entrance of the Sinclair Centre. If this was you, please claim it and pass it along to someone else by Friday morning when it is slated to be removed.
