share the love with the animals, too

I love my dog Lucy more than anything I can think of. Technically I rescued her from a shelter 6 years ago, but really, we both know that she rescued me. She is the best friend I have ever had. She has taught me some of the most important lessons I have learned, and she makes me laugh every day with her crazy border collie antics. I read this post this morning and immediately knew I wanted to get involved. It wont be hard to go to a few thrift shops and by some blankets, towels and toys for local animal shelters. There are all kinds of other little Lucy's out there, and I want to love them too.
