final voting for changesomething

Can you please include a link to the 5 finalists and voting?  I can't find it anywhere. This website is so hard to find your way around!!!!!!

None of the four tags shows either the five finailists or a voiting area. Sheesh!

And on that page, there is a tag link to "finalists" which shows only three. But on _that_ page the "finalists" tag will lead to a similar page that shows all five. This only takes simple testing of the links!

Why show only three at all?

The link I provided both in the post and in a comment in response to your comment provides links to all the finalists.

The way tags work on this site: when you click on a tag link, the site will bring you to a page with all the content that users have added that particular tag to. In the case of the 'finalists' tag, some of the users did not include it in their posts. I generally do not make a habit of adding tags to posts submitted to the site by users.

Hi Wayne,
The site offers a preview of the content in each post. To view the whole of any post, one must click the more button. In this case it automatically cut off the post part way through (if you click the more button, you will see the full post)

However I should go in there and edit the preview so that it shows the whole post in the previews.

I do appreciate that VanCity has set up this competition. But I also feel that it is going on way way way too long for such a tiny bit of money. Why don't you just award $1000 to each of the five finalists ( all deserving, I'm sure ) and move on.

Not to whine too much but this website is also very hard to navigate, it is just poorly designed and the whole voting process sucks quite badly. People can't figure out how to register, how to vote, how to find out relevant information. I think it makes VanCity look a bit like an institution that has a few problems with modern technology. Geez. 

I agree with mayday2. I really love this site and all the positive change it fosters. I think the competition you have going is wonderful.

But I do think it is a little hard to navigate. I wish it were a little more straighforward and the links were easier to get to and follow.

I wish we could give $1000 to everyone involved, there are so many great causes. The reality is that we are one of many great programs Vancity has in the community and we have a limited budget. $1000 for us is a big deal!

In order to vote, users must be signed into ChangeEverything.ca. So if you are having a hard time finding the voting box, that could be why.

And we are always looking for ways to make the ChangeEverything experience better for people. If you would provide specific examples of things you were trying to do on the site but had a hard time with, that would be really helpful for us to understand your experience more fully and give us a better idea of where to make improvements.

I have registered and am unable to find where I can vote in the $1,000. contest.  Am I only allowed one vote.
