After over 100 gigs in Australia and eastern N America, the Climate Change, Despair & Empowerment roadshow www.climate.net.au , is headed for Vancouver Wed August 15 and from there making its way down to San Francisco and then Hawaii. Presented by Kelly Tudhope from the RIC with the help of Pat Rasmussen of the World Temperate Rainforest Network, the roadshow teaches us how to transform despair into empowerment and inspires grass roots action to head off climate chaos.

For people that missed this

For people that missed this discussion & presentation, parts of it will be broadcast on CFRO radio 102.7FM at 1:00 Fridays or www.ecoshock.org

Kelly reiterated what Al Gore said about people moving directly from denial to despair about Global Warming. This despair can give us an excuse to do nothing. Therefore it's very important that we discuss and express our feelings about this global emergency in order to get past the despair and move onto taking action personally and politically.
