changing homelessness

a while ago i participated in something called Project Connect, an event that brings together a whole lot of services available to homeless people in our community, in one place for one day. there were dentists, barbers. people advising on affordable housing, and hot meals - not to mention the smiles and love. it was an incredible day that saw volunteers from every walk of life from students of a local elementary school to pensioners who came out to support the cause.

this video (my first attempt at video production) is the first in our web series on change. i tried my best to capture the open hearts and awe the volunteers experienced having had the chance to volunteer.
