borrow a dog crate?

i am taking a flight next month with my dog and i would like to avoid buying a dog crate, partly because it is expensive, but also because i hate the idea of buying more stuff when i am sure there is someone out there who could lend me one for a few weeks?
if you have one or know anyone who does, please put them in touch with me.

a friend got in touch with me after this post yesterday and is loaning me a crate! in exchange, i am taking him and his wife/girlfriend to a concert they really want to go to... way better than spending my money on a new crate! i am delighted!
