Buckley, who will head this event, is a constitutional lawyer well-versed in regulatory matters, is also president of the Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA), which launched the Charter of Health Freedom on September 10, 2008.

The Charter (charterofhealthfreedom.org) is being supported across Canada by a broad cross-section of Canadians—consumers/citizens, NHP manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, natural health practitioners from many disciplines and cultures and NGOs. More than 10,000 signatures have been gathered on petitions, and national efforts continue.
