In the springtime I will be publishing my first book. I'm excited about it and want to share it with you.

Becoming: Journeying toward Authenticity is a series of personal essays, each between two and five pages, about 40 or so in total, maybe about 200 pages altogether. The essays are about people, places, events, pieces of wisdom, that have been important and formative in my 'becoming.' Each essay begins with a couple of wonderful quotations which set the tone, and concludes with references to related reading to deepen the exploration of the theme. Finally, each essay offers a set of questions which invite the reader to reflect on her/his own life in the areas addressed in that essay.

Becoming contains essays that are personal in nature yet many have themes that are universal, and will hopefully appeal to a variety of readers. The essays themselves, and the questions that follow are intended to make the collection a stepping stone for the reader's own personal reflection and self-discovery.
