MAKING THE COMPOST HAPPEN!!

My brother, LIO, has been on a radio show on the internet for several months now. The show is about the music culture in Vancouver and around, and also about the GREEN culture in Vancouver. The name of the show is OSOS VERDES, which means, GREEN BEARS. I think its a great name!!! Anyways, my brother has asked me to participate in the show with the Green Peace, get it!!! the Green Note!!

So every last tuesday of the month I come with my little research on Green Culture of the City of Van. So for this month of March, I decided to venture into the idea of urban composting. This project has been on my mind for ever, but I just have not manifested it as a reality!!

My goal is to have my urban red worm compost going by next week!! So that by the next radio show (Tue March 29/11), I can go to OSOS VERDES with something to talk about, other than just facts and numbers, but an EXPERIENCE in ACTION!!!

I'm really excited about this!! Since its a REAL positive impact on the planet and the community!! I have to confess there is a a secret activist person inside of me!! so this is great opportunity for the real change to take place!!
